F 506 - Bearing rings
DESCRIPTION
Guide rings made of hardened F 506 type fabric are suitable for the heaviest loads in hydraulics. Type F 506 is supplied in pieces. Type F 506 guide rings are made of polyester fabric impregnated with artificial resin. The rings can be supplied with a perpendicular or oblique cut. The surface areas are untreated in the new production method. No fibre is broken. This prevents fraying of the fibres. The radii on the edges guarantee good seating in the groove. The value for the specific pressure should be calculated with a safety factor of 2 : 1 when calculating the bearing.
MEDIA
Type F 506 guide rings are suitable for ASTM 1 and ASTM 3 mineral oils as well as water and HFA, HFB, HFC and HFD fluids. The maximum continuous operating temperature is 80 °C for water, 60 °C for HFA and HFB fluids and 40 °C for HFC fluids.
