Ro 800

DESCRIPTION

The patented Ro 800 rotary seal has been specially developed for use in rotary transfer cases. It is made of HYTHANE® 181 material, which is resistant to wear and heavy loads. There is no danger of overheating in the static part. The shape of the seal minimises the frictional force. The design with integrated polyacetal retaining rings on both sides allows bridging of large sealing joints. For applications with very little line clearance or low pressure loads, Ro 800 is also available without retaining rings. The seal is designed for double acting applications. Depending on the design, it can be used as an internal or external seal. The Ro 800 can be installed seamlessly in enclosed building spaces.

NOTE

Should Ro 800 be used as an end seal, it is recommended to protect the seal with a wiper ring.

MEDIA

The Ro 800 seal is suitable for use in mineral oils at temperatures of -30 °C to + 80 °C. Resistance to other hydraulic fluids must be tested on a case-by-case basis.
