DESCRIPTION
Rod seal S 716 has been well proven in medium and heavy hydraulics applications as an alternative to Vee-packs while designing presses etc. This type is used in heavy duty applications with request of good wear resistant. High wear resistant TPE ring is preloaded by O-ring. For oscillatory and rotary movements S 716 comes in a modified form, specially designed for the every type of use. Likewise, when the rod seal with almost no leakage and with the minimal friction (e.g. without the pressure of long strokes).
MATERIAL, RANGE OF USE
TPE was developed as a thermoplastic compound of polyester and an elastomer, particularly resistant to wear and abrasion. TPE is usable from -40 ° C to +100 °C depending on the O-ring material and has a good chemical resistance. Seal from TPE can be supplied in diameters up to 1500 mm.
MEDIA
Depending on the material of O-ring you can seal the different media. TPE is suitable for mineral oil, water, hydraulic fluids based on water and oil (HFA, HFB).
