K 606
DESCRIPTION
Seal type K 606 is recommended for easy and medium applications as a single-acting piston seal. Type K 606 has an asymmetric short and strong sealing lip on the outside diameter. Smaller dimension of inside diameter and strengthened adhesive lip ensure good installation in the groove. This modern shaping avoids the "turn-over" of the seal within the origin of the pressure between two seals. It avoids the "turn-over" caused by the both-side pressure load. It is assumed that there were no pressure shocks and that the stroke speed was low. We recommend modern piston seals like types K 754, K 54 or compact seal types K 780, K 753 and K 53 while designing a new applications of double-acting piston.

These three values are related together and their relation is expressed in the table below:
* At water, HFA and HFB liquids is maximal temperature range to +60°C. At HFC liquid to +40°C. In this case, please contact us for more details!
The lowest permissible temperature is -56°C. HYTHANE ® is continuously more and more tougher when the temperature is decreasing, but it does not break.

MEDIA
HYTHANE® sealing is suitable for air, water as well as for pressure liquids based on mineral oil, HFA, HFB and HFC liquids.
