
SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
We have worked on creating company responsibility for a long time.
Our priority is to build long-term partnerships that benefit our customers, suppliers and employees. We want to be a good neighbour to the community, by working with the residents, the local government and institutions not only in Litoměřice but everywhere we operate.
We focus on technology, but we know that technology is created by people and people come first for us, we value their uniqueness and potential. A personal approach and a friendly environment are an obvious part of our company culture, which we support by working in small teams and having a modern, environmentally friendly and family-friendly company campus.
Education
The professional and personal growth of our employees and associates is important to us. We therefore have many types of training and educational courses for them.
Family life
We do our best to meet the needs of our employees and associates in balancing their professional and family life. That is why we were one of the first companies in the region to build our own HENNLICH Baby Club for the preschool children of our employees and partners. We allow various forms of flexible working hours or home office. Our employees and partners can use the company's SOS advice line free of charge if they do not know how to deal with a difficult situation both professionally and personally.
Nature is a great inspiration for us. In our portfolio we have many products that contribute to environmental protection or use renewable energy sources. Our company is ISO 14001 certified and we have our own environmental policy.
Company facility
Our corporate campus is fully environmentally friendly. We use heat pumps for heating and cooling, and have our own rainwater harvesting and soaking system. Waste sorting is also followed.
City cooperation
We have cooperated with the city of Litomerice for a long time. The city is involved in the Healthy City programme, and spreads awareness of positive ecological behaviour among residents and in schools.
Research and development
For many years we have focused on renewable energy and the reuse of waste energy in our research and development of new products. Examples include the development of our own alphaFERM biogas plant based on dry fermentation, a special ECO-mizer heat exchanger using waste heat in gas boilers, and our own ZERO FUEL GEN ORC unit that can generate electricity from waste heat.
The place where we operate is important to us. This was true 100 years ago in Duchcov, North Bohemia, where our company was found. The same is true in Litomerice, where we have operated since 1991 after the company returned to the former Czechoslovakia.
Supporting companies in the region
We assist companies from the immediate and wider area in introducing activities to balance work and family life.
The evidence that where we work is important to us is the many social activities we have initiated in Litomerice. One of our most important projects is the HENNLICH Donor Fund, which was established in 2004 at the prestigious Ústí Community Foundation. Thanks to this fund we are able support the non-profit activities of young people every year. In addition, we cooperate with the city in developing environmental activities for residents and local students.
