Automatic self-cleaning filter for viscous media and very demanding applications

The automatic filter AS 110-FD / AS 175-FD consists of the following parts

  • filter body and filter head
  • sieve (wedge wire element)
  • wiper blade
  • motor with spur gearbox

The filter medium enters through the bottom inlet flange to the outside of the filter screen. It is then pushed through the screen towards the inner part of the screen, thereby separating the impurities. The purified medium then flows into the upper part of the filter and exits through the upper outlet flange. The impurities are trapped on the outer surface of the screen where they are continuously removed by a rotating wiper blade. The trapped sludge falls into the lower part of the filter body, where it is discharged at regular intervals via a waste valve.

Sludge discharge can be achieved in three different ways

  • manually, by opening and closing the ball valve
  • automatically - by a time-controlled valve only, without a control unit
  • or automatically on the basis of a DP depending on the pressure difference, i.e. including the control unit
