SCRAPER FILTER

The scraper filters are self-cleaning filters that do not require the use of conventional filter elements, thus minimizing the consumption of resources. Their stable and robust design makes them ideal for continuous use and provides a solution for a wide range of industrial and food applications. They impress with high differential pressure resistance, a maximum operating temperature of up to 200 °C and flow rates of up to 35 m³/h.

The edge slot filters are suitable for almost all low- and high-viscosity liquids. Optionally, the edge filters are also available with explosion protection testing (ATEX). Their innovative mode of operation allows cleaning without interrupting filtration and minimizes product loss during solids discharge.

Filtration takes place through the filter element from the outside to the inside, with solids accumulating on the outside. The gear motor rotates the cylindrical can so that the applied scraper removes the filter cake from its surface. This eliminates the need to dispose of filter cartridges.

The removed solids are then deposited in the lower part of the edge filter and can be discharged from the housing in 3 ways:

    Manually: By opening and closing a ball valve.

    Automatically: By means of a time-controlled valve

    Automatic: By means of an electronic control system with differential pressure monitoring that actuates a drain valve.
