Automatic self-cleaning filter AS50
Automatic self-cleaning filter for viscous media and very demanding applications.
The AS50 automatic filter consists of the following parts
- filter body and filter head
- sieve (wedge wire element)
- wiper blade
- motor with spur gearbox
The filter media enters the space around the outside of the filter screen through the bottom inlet flange. From there it is pushed inwards through the screen, thus effectively filtering it. The cleaned media then flows into the upper part of the filter and then exits through the upper outlet flange. The solid particles are trapped on the outside of the screen where they are continuously removed by a rotating wiper blade. The trapped sludge falls into the lower part of the filter body where it is discharged at regular intervals through the waste valve.
Sludge discharge can be achieved in three different ways
- manually, by opening and closing the ball valve
- automatically: only by a time-controlled valve, without a control unit
- automatically: based on DP depending on the pressure difference, i.e. including the control unit
Main functions
- Environmentally friendly, no disposal of filter elements

- electrophoretic coating
- polyurethane
- plasticizers
- solvents
- tar
- cooling media
