Seal PD 1

is a shock absorbing sealing element that is designed to stop the moving parts of the pneumatic cylinder at the end of the stroke. Several shapes contribute to increase the effect of this pneumatic element.

Benefits

- The wiper profile with a ramp bevel improves the running-in of the ring.
- External grooves ensure automatic centring.
- High modulus polyurethane increases durability and impact resistance.
Recommended technical conditions
Pressure: < 20 bar
Speed:      < 1 m/s
Temperature: -30 to +90°C
Medium: air (lubricated and non-lubricated)

Material

Standard polyurethane 90 ShA.    Compound designation:    B0
Alternatively polyurethane 93 ShA Compound designation:    C0

Installation

Installation in a semi-open construction space is easy. Remove burrs and sharp edges to avoid damage, shortened life or reduced efficiency.
Grease lubrication increases seal life.
