Automatic spring lubricator type SBS

Spring grease lubricators are designed for dosing of grease to one lubrication point. They are optimal for lubrication points with smaller resistance (back-pressure). They are usually used for lubrication of hardly accessible places. The grease is impressed to the lubrication point under the lower pressure, which is caused by spring placed above the follower plate inside the reservoir._x000D_

The lubricator can be placed in every position and it is possible to refill it repeatedly through the grease nipple (type H according to DIN 71412).
Optimal is, when is the lubricator directly connected to the thread of the lubrication point. It is also possible to connect the lubricator output and the lubrication point with a short line (recommended is length max. 0,5 m).
In contrast to automatic lubricators, which work on other principals (electromechanical, electrochemical, etc.), these lubricators have low-cost operation, because there is no need of any additional activation screws etc. after the refilling. Disadvantage is the hard determination of dosed amount of lubricant per time unit, which is dependent on resistance in lubrication point, temperature, type of lubricant, etc.
This type of lubricator is available with different reservoir capacities and more possibilities of spring setting (3, 5 or 8 bar). By spring choice, it is necessary to take the back-pressure into account. (in lubrication point or in the pipes between lubricator and lubrication point)._x000D_
