D-Rings

DESCRIPTION

The aseptic seal according to DIN 11851 is designed for sealing flange ends in the food industry. D-rings come into contact with foodstuffs, as well, as sanitizing agents or steam. They are therefore offered in a wide range of materials.

Available materials with FDA certification and their applications:
EPDM - for steam, acids and alkalis
NBR - for hydrocarbons, oils and lubricants
Silicone - optimal for media used in the food industry
FPM (Viton®) - very high chemical resistance, for aggressive media
PTFE - high chemical and temperature resistance, low elasticity
In addition to the above materials, other material specialties from our HENNLICH - HSC production centre can be supplied.

D-RINGS ARE OFFERED IN THREE DESIGNS:

- Simple
- With mounting (flanged).
- High design

As these are aseptic or hygienic seals, they are designed for sensitive industries, such as the pharmaceutical and food industries, where hygienic cleanliness is a critical factor for use.

All HENNLICH D-rings are manufactured in accordance with the requirements of the FDA standard. This guarantees the highest quality standards are achieved. The wide range of materials offers the opportunity to choose the right seals for the application, both in terms of working media and temperatures.
