DESCRIPTION
Static seal type 255 finds application as a seal in hydraulic cylinder lids, hydraulic valves
and other static applications. Due to the used material (93ShA polyurethane) it successfully replaces the combination of O-ring and retaining ring, as well as provides excellent resistance to extrusion into the joint.
Thanks to the symmetrical profile, large leading edges and stable seating in the groove, it allows easy installation and there is no risk of twisting compared to an O-ring.

Media:
In standard 93ShA polyurethane design, highly resistant to mineral oil-based fluids. For other, e.g. more aggressive media, we can also supply versions in other materials.
Pressure resistance:
In standard material design, temperature resistance up to 60 °C up to 400 barTemperature range: in standard design from -35 °C to +100 °C, for higher temperatures can be supplied e.g. in FPM design
