DESCRIPTION
Type 657 is designed for static sealing of SAE standard flanges where it is successfully used due to its compact size. The advantages compared to O-ring sealing are mainly in:
- Thanks to the optimal geometry, the "pumping" effect during rapid pressure changes and pulsations can be avoided
- Increased contact sealing area
- Excellent resistance to extrusion
- significant reduction of the risk of possible leaks
For extreme operating conditions from -56 °C to +110 °C, the dimensions listed below can be supplied in other material versions for larger series.
MEDIA
The polyurethane seals are suitable for mineral oils, HFA, HFB pressure fluids. The temperature limitation for HFA and HFB fluids is up to +60 °C, for HFC fluids up to +40 °C.
Operating conditions
Temperature range: -30 °C / +100 °C (mineral oil)
Maximum pressure: 600 bar
