DESCRIPTION
Type 155 was developed for static sealing tops of hydraulic cylinders. It replaces very successfully the most commonly used combination of O-ring with backup ring. It is particularly suitable for cylinders which experience certain elastic deformations during the working cycle, or ovality due to manufacturing reasons, resulting in a change in the size of the sealing joint.
Thanks to its optimised profile and the special material used, it allows sealing of the joint up to a value of F=0.4 mm at a pressure of 500 bar.
Each size of the sealing sleeve can be used for the respective D1 diameter range listed in the dimension table!
MEDIA
Type 155 is suitable for mineral oil based pressure fluids and HFA fluids. It is not suitable for HFC fluids. It can be operated for short-term temperatures down to -60 °C.
