DESCRIPTION
Wipe rings of standard series A 31 protects hydraulic cylinder against leakage of dirt and foreign bodies. Cylinder good efficiency essentially depends on seal life time, linear giuding, as well as operation state of the rod. Wipe ring type A 31 is made of rubber that is especially wear resistant. Hardness is chosen so that the dirt is securely wiped and yet the guidance and seals have a thin lubricating film. The housing grooves for this O-ring does not require precise tolerances, enabling cost effective production of the grooves._x000D_
MEDIA
These rings are suitable for liquids based on mineral oil, water, water-glycol mixtures. Short term operating temperatures up to -40 °C are permitted. Another material suitable for temperatures from -60 °C to +200 °C, and for use in difficult flammable liquids of ester or synthetic base are subject to request.
