Modern type wiping seal with a good wiping performance and good wear resistance. Protective "umbrella" also prevents contamination from entering to the system around the outside of the wiping seal. The inner diameter in small increments set ribs in the axial direction, which maintain the ring in the correct position. It also prevents the possible formation pressure, which could lead to pushing the wiping seal. It also prevents possible pressurization between the seal and the wiper ring.
