Meets the requirements of DIN 3761.
Type AS-P is a single-acting seal designed for rotary shaft movements. The sealing lip is shortened and reinforced compared to type AS and preloaded with a tension spring.
This type is suitable for applications with increased pressure gradients up to 10 Bar depending on circumferential speed and shaft diameter. It does not require the use of a retaining ring.
 
The all-rubber design guarantees excellent sealing also in the presence of higher roughness and in the presence of low viscosity liquids or gases. It provides sufficient compensation for the different thermal expansion of the surrounding
Requires a lower tolerance for shaft eccentricity due to the lower elasticity of the sealing edge.
Dimensions from shaft diameters of 6 mm.

CUSTOM MODIFICATIONS

Non-standard dimensions or profile modifications are possible, e.g. versions without dust cover.Minimum custom quantities may be required for these modifications.

INSTALLATION NOTES

Prior to assembly it is recommended to coat the area between the sealing lip and dust cap with grease to increase durability.
