Typ B-O
Type B-O is a single-acting seal designed for rotary shaft movements. It is used in less demanding applications or as an additional seal against the onslaught of dirt from the outside. Includes sealing lip without tension spring.
This type has a metal outer sleeve which is used for a firm and accurate seating in the housing. Requires a more precise design of the outer perimeter of the storage compartment.
Its advantages include space-saving applications and lower frictional losses. It is also used to seal needle bearings and grease up to a peripheral speed of 6 m/s.
Dimensions from 3 mm shaft diameters.
CUSTOM MODIFICATIONS
Non-standard dimensions or profile modifications are possible, e.g. versions with dust cap.
For these modifications, minimum custom quantities may be required.
