Combined systems

Characteristics:

Combined lubrication systems are systems, in which are applied some parts of systems with different characteristics described in previous chapters. The reason for creating these systems is, that the requirements for lubrication of some technological device determinate the global construction of the system, whereas the rest of of the lubricated device has totally different requirements. Another good reason can be, that some production technologies equipped by lubrication system are additionally extended or completed by new machines with different lubrication requirements.

Description:

As an example of combined system we present the combination of single-tube system with dosing devices Centro-Matic and system with electromagnetic valves. To the system Centro-Matic built by a pump (a), relief valve (b) and dosing devices (c) is connected through the electromagnetic valve (d) to another circuit with progressive dividers (e), which supply the lubricated places of the device, which runs occasionally.

Function:

Lubrication system Centro-Matic works normally in cycles as was mentioned in previous chapters. The separation valve (d) is closed. Depending on a certain number of “worked” working hours, the separation valve opens during the beginning of the nearest lubrication cycle of the system Centro-Matic and the lubricant can flow through the progressive dividers (e) to the connected lubricated places. Based on the set number of closure of the contactless switch placed on the progressive divider the valve (d) closes, which causes the pressure increasing up to working pressure of  dosing devices Centro-Matic due to the permanent pump working. So is the cycle ended. Next lubrication cycles are working again with a closed valve.

Standard elements for combined lubrication systems:

For combined systems are used the elements for basic systems.

Main fields of usage:

Combined lubrication systems have no specific usage. They can be used everywhere, where it is  beneficial at given conditions
