Multi-line and progressive systems

Characteristics:

For multi-tubular systems is characteristic, that the pressure lubricant source (multi-outlet pump) is directly connected by the pipe with lubricated place. Multi-tubular systems are often combined with progressive dividers, which are designed to divide the lubricant from one pump outlet to more lubricated places. Progressive dividers can be ordered in one level eventually in more levels one after another.
It is the direct lubrication, which means that all lubricant volume pressed by the pump is forced to the lubricated places. This system is suitable for machines, lines and devices with smaller or middle number of lubricated places – ca 30 pcs, when the progressive dividers are used - then up to 200 pcs, which are placed close to the pump. The lubricant volume, which obtains directly connected lubricated place per time unit, is given by setting the appropriate pumping element. In places connected though progressive dividers is the lubricant volume divided in proportion, which matches the way of connection to the appropriate divider.

Description:

Source of pressure lubricant is the high-pressure pump (a). The pump is equipped by required number (1-30) of pumped elements. Lubricated places are connected to the lubricant distributions directly or through the progressive dividers (b) for lubricated places with smaller consumption of lubricant. According to the way of connection the lubricated places get the lubricant in proportion 1:1 or in required proportion.

Function:

When the pump runs, the lubricant forced by working piston of the pump element is distributed to the appropriate lubricated place. When the progressive divider is thrusted, the incoming lubricant is  equally subdivided into all outputs of the divider. The progressive dividers work sequentially, step by step (progressively), that means that they dose the proper dose of lubricant, one by one into each outlet so long, till the lubricant is distributed to the divider._x000D_

The dose release from the next outlet starts always after the full dose release from the previous outlet. In case that one outlet of the divider is blinded, the appropriate dose is added to the next dose. When the next outlet is also blinded, both doses are added to the next one etc. By different combination of used and blinded outlets it is possible to achieve the lubricant division to divider in proportion, which as best as possible responds the needs of particular lubricated places. Expressive characteristics resulting from the sequent work of the progressive divider is that, when any outlet from the divider is blocked, the whole system is also automatically blocked. This advantage is mainly used for easy and reliable function checking of the progressive lubrication system. For this purpose  the dividers SSV-N or SSVD-N are designed, equipped by contactless sensor - detector, which reacts by movement of the working piston of the divider. One sensor is enough to 100% secure up to hundreds of lubricated places!

Standard elements for multi-tubular and progressive systems:

a – Pumps

b – Progressive dividers

Additional parts of the system:

  • Accessories  (signalization of low level of the lubricant in the tank, safety valves, manometers etc.)
  • Lubricant distribution  (pipe, hose, screw-coupling, anchoring and assembly material)

Main fields of usage:

Machines, lines or devices with smaller number of lubricated places placed close to each other eventually ordered into groups. Typical representative for multi-tubular systems are stone-breakers, for progressive systems mobile technology as building machines, agricultural machines, logging machines, then lines in forest and food industry, shaping and forming machines, etc.
