601
Sealing type 601 is recommended for applications of easy or medium conditions. The sealing lips are shaped symetrically, that makes type 601 suitable for using on rods and pistons application. You can use this type as a spare part in case there is not known if you need piston rod sealing or piston sealing.
MATERIAL
HYTHANE® is a specialized plastic, excellent wear resistant, flexible and extremely thermally resilient.
It features:

PRESSURE: ** to 600 bar
SPEED: to 1 m/s
These three values are related together and their relation is expressed in the table below:
* At water, HFA and HFB fluids is temperature range to +60°C. At HFC fluid to +40°C. In this case, please contact us for more detailes!
Depending on technical requirements the lowest permissible temperature is -56°C. HYTHANE ® is continuously more and more tougher when the temperature is decreasing, but it does not break.

MEDIA
HYTHANE® seals are suitable for air, water as well as for pressure liquids based on mineral oil, HFA, HFB and HFC liquids.
