S 610

DESCRIPTION

Seal type S 610 has been developed as a rod seal for narrow housing. According to the latest studies of sealing technology the seal has an overlap at the outer diameter, which ensures tight fit in the groove. The second sealing lip ensures a good tightness of leakage. Tightness is also excellent in low pressure, as compact shape of sealing lips reduces leakage to a minimum. Friction while no-load movement is higher than no-load movement friction at type S 605. Type S 610 is designed especially for telescopic cylinders and compact cylinders in mobile hydraulics and agriculture.

MATERIAL

HYTHANE® is a special plastic, excellent wear resistent, flexible and high thermal resistant.  It is characterized by:

• extremely good wear resistance
• very low permanent deformation
• high flexibility
• great flexibility in a wide temperature range

RANGE OF USE

PERMANENT TEMPERATURE: * from -40 °C to +100 °C
PRESSURE: to 500 bar
SLIDING SPEED: to 1 m/s

These are related values above. Interdependencies are shown in the next table.
* For water and pressure liquids HFA and HFB is permissible maximal temperature +60 °C.
For pressure liquid HFC is permissible maximal temperature +40 °C.

Depends on the technical requirements is permissible the lowest temperature of -56 °C. HYTHANE ® is continuously more and more tougher when the temperature is decreasing, but it does not break.
