S 18

DESCRIPTION

Type S 18 has proven itself as a seal for many years for medium and heavy duty applications. It consists of a textile-rubber cuff with vulcanised rubber part.
The textile-rubber part gives this seal the necessary robustness and optimum lubrication, and the rubber part the necessary tightness even at low pressures.

ASSEMBLY

The seal is designed for installation in axially open inserts. Only dimensions marked with * can be can be installed in closed grooves.

MEDIA

These seals are suitable for mineral oils permanently from -30 °C to +100 °C, for HFA, HFB and HFC liquids up to +60 °C. In the short term, the permissible operating temperatures are -40 °C. Other material compositions for  temperatures from -60 °C to +200 °C and for use in highly flammable liquids at ester or synthetic based on request.
