S 15

DESCRIPTION

Standard sealing set type S 15 has been well proven as a piston rod sealing in medium duty applications for various conditions. Besides wear-resistant fabric, the oil bodies are present in the fabric take care for longer life. The sealing lip facing towards the pressurehas a significant wiping effect even at low pressure within low frition a protect the rod against the leakage. Small contact surface relative to the multipart sealing set require only a small frictional force. Small space requirements and installation options by pressing  are another benefits of the type S 15.

ASSEMBLY

Seal can be shaped oval and from Ø 20 mm can be squeezed into the closed groove._x000D_

MEDIA

This seal is suitable for liquids based on mineral oil, water and water-glycol. The short term temperature of -40 °C is allowed. Other materials operating from -60 °C to +200 °C as well as application with hard-flammable liquids, ester or synthetic based are subject to request. _x000D_
