S 653
DESCRIPTION
Type S 653 is the damping seal which has been developed specifically for use together with rod seal such as S 605 and S 621. This seal is able thanks to its special shape to reduce the pressure that can be created between the main and damping sealing. Type S 653 is working as a "reverse-valve".
The sealing is completed with a back-up ring from the acetal to provide maximum extrusion resistance while pressure shocks and that the main seal is protected against pressure peaks in extreme applications.
MATERIAL
HYTHANE® is a special plastic, with excellent wear resistent, flexible and high thermal resistant. It is characterized by:
- extremely good wear resistance
- very low permanent deformation
- high flexibility
- great flexibility in a wide temperature range
Type S 653 is a patented product in Europe (No. 042755BI) and the USA (No. 508747).

MEDIA
Seals from HYTHANE® are suitable for pressure liquids based on mineral oil. The temperature range is limited for HFA, HFB and HFC liquids.
