S 663
DESCRIPTION
Type S 663 is recommended for medium application as a rod seal. Type S 663 has an asymmetric lips and is strictly designed as a rod seal. This means for example, overlap in the outer diameter in order to achieve tight fit in the groove. Thanks a special geometry of the inside diameter is achieved an excellent dynamic tightness and excellent properties of reverse-flow also in the rods with long stroke. Seal S 663 achieves excellent results in combination with double wiper rings such as types A 846 or A 839.
MATERIAL
HYTHANE® is a special plastic with excellent wear resistent, flexible and high thermal resistant.
It is characterized by:

- very low permanent compressive deformation
- high flexibility
- great flexibility in a wide temperature range

* For water and pressure liquids HFA and HFB is permissible maximal temperature +60 °C.
For pressure liquid HFC is permissible maximal temperature +40 °C.
MEDIA
Seals from HYTHANE® are suitable for applications with air, water, pressure liquids based on mineral oil.
Temperature range is limited for HFA, HFB and HFC liquids.
