Piston seal PK 1


is a classic single-acting piston seal. For use in a double-acting cylinder, two PK 1 cuffs are used "back to back". The suitable profiles and the high elasticity of the material make it easy to fit the seals even in closed grooves.

Advantages


- Low friction
- Rounding of the dynamic cutting edge improves smoothness of movement
- Excellent performance even at low pressures
 These advantages are provided by the deeper groove between the static and dynamic cutting edge, together with the rounding of the cutting edge.
Recommended technical conditions
Pressure: < 20 bar
Speed: < 1 m/s
Temperature: -30 to +90°C
Medium: air (lubricated and non-lubricated)

Standard polyurethane 90 ShA.    Compound designation:    B0
Alternatively polyurethane 85 ShA Blend designation:    A0

Installation


Remove burrs and sharp edges that could damage the seal. The piston must be free of burrs and the cylinder tube bevelled according to the installation instructions in the introduction to the catalogue.
