Piston seal PK 6N / PK 6F

is a double acting piston seal designed for pneumatic cylinders. It consists of a PTFE filled slip ring and an O-ring which activates it.

Installation

The piston must be free of burrs and the cylinder tube must be tapered according to the mounting instructions in the catalogue introduction.
Fit the O-ring into the groove first (do not overtighten). Then, in one place, insert the PTFE compound ring into the groove and, using a circular motion, gradually stretch it around the entire circumference using a flat plastic band (details on request). For diameters up to 32 mm, we recommend an axially accessible stop space.
