Piston seal PK 3

is a rubber single-acting piston collar. For double acting pneumatic cylinders, two "back to back" in separate grooves must be used. The flexibility of the material makes it easy to fit the seals even in closed grooves.

 These advantages are provided by the deeper groove between the static and dynamic cutting edge, together with the rounded cutting edge.

Speed: < 0.5 m/s
Temperature: -30 to +80°C (NBR) / -15 to +150°C (FPM)
Medium: air (lubricated)

Installation

Remove burrs and sharp edges that could damage the seal. The piston must be free of burrs and the cylinder tube bevelled according to the mounting instructions in the catalogue introduction.
