Piston seal PK 2



is a double-acting polyurethane piston seal designed for pneumatic cylinders and can also be used for pneumatic valves if overall dimensions permit.

Advantages


- Rounding in the centre of the dynamic cutting edge reduces friction and improves smoothness of movement.
- In addition, the advantageous economical build-up reduces machining times.
- Excellent performance even at low pressures.
- Compensates well for slight radial piston deviations.

The special seal shape allows for easier installation, high adaptability and good function even at low pressures.
Recommended technical conditions
Pressure: < 20 bar
Speed: < 1 m/s
Temperature: -30 to +90°C
Medium: air (lubricated and non-lubricated)

Material

Standard polyurethane 90 ShA.    Compound designation:    B0
Alternatively polyurethane 85 ShA Blend designation:    A0

Installation

Remove burrs and sharp edges that could damage the seal. The piston must be free of burrs and the cylinder tube bevelled according to the installation instructions in the introduction to the catalogue.
