DESCRIPTION: S 621

Seal type S 621 has been developed as a rod seal for medium and heavy hydraulics applications. You can use them in heavy duty conditions at the earth-moving equipment and excavators, mobile hydraulics and wherever long-term sealing is required. Preloaded force of sealing lips is increased by preloaded element of NBR O-ring. This provides a type S 621 more opportunities for use at low temperatures, vibration and extreme operating conditions such as the pressure shocks. The back-up ring used for type S 621 additionally improve the extrusion resistance.

DESCRIPTION: S 652

The seal S652 was developed as a rod seal for medium and heavy hydraulics. The most common use is in mining hydraulic systems. The seal is made from material HYTHANE^®, sealing force of the lips is improved by preloading NBR part (O-ring or profile ring). Back-up ring from POM improve the extrusion resistance.

MATERIAL

HYTHANE® is a special plastic, excellent wear resistent, flexible and high thermal resistant.  It is characterized by:

• extremely good wear resistance
• very low permanent deformation
• high flexibility
• great flexibility in a wide temperature range

RANGE OF USE

PERMANENT TEMPERATURE: * from -40 °C to +100 °C
PRESSURE: to 600 bar (700 bar for S652)
SLIDING SPEED: to 1 m/s

* For water and pressure liquids HFA and HFB is permissible maximal temperature +60 °C.
For pressure liquid HFC is permissible maximal temperature +40 °C.

Depends on the technical requirements is permissible the lowest temperature of -56 °C. HYTHANE ® is continuously more and more tougher when the temperature is decreasing, but it does not break.

MEDIA

Seals from HYTHANE^® are suitable for applications with air, water, pressure liquids based on mineral oil and HFA, HFB and HFC liquids.

Note: Material, the media, the scope of application and operating conditions are the same for type S 621 and S 652!
